What an exciting few weeks. We made some new friends in the Philippines who share our love for conservation. It's so exciting to meet fellow believers who can see that we need to help save these animals. What an awesome thing - the internet! Just 15 years ago it would be near impossible for a small group just getting started to find friends on the on the other side of the planet.
We are currently working on the materials we plan to publish next year. The Vacation Bible School program is going way better than expected. The characters have taken on a life of their own. So much, in fact, we are now considering putting together a children's book based on these characters.
It's amazing just how much the Bible tells us about wildlife. It's important to me to make sure that the Bible is the center of this mission. There are so many verses and stories explaining the relationship between God and his creation that a lot of Christians either have never read, overlooked, or ignored.
